Schwinn Volare Bike review

For relaxing leisure and daily rides most people are choosing Hybrid Bike. They are suitable for many conditions and applications. Hybrid term means that bike is combined from several types of bicycles: mountain, road and touring. These bikes are popular among casual riders, children and beginners because of comfort ride, stability and simplicity.

Very popular choice is Schwinn Volare model. It has low price range and according to others is well made. In this review I will try to check these things. As every bike ordered from online shop this one also comes almost assembled. Just 25 minutes and you are prepared for the ride. First impression about the bike was great. While price isn't big, the quality and performance looks way above that.

Main thing, which determine this is low weight. Schwinn Volare weighs about 34 pounds and this is great number for hybrid bike. Considering this fact, there is no point to plan any upgrades in the near future. Bike has well designed aluminium fitness frame and rigid steel forks. They seem to be durable and solid.

After few months the wheels still look awesome for me, while tires don't. I love riding not only in city pavements, so the problem should be right there. Maybe tires would remain in good shape, if I would avoid these forest paths. Going both uphill and downhill is easy and funny. Gearing works perfectly and shifters are ergonomic. There are only few things I love in this bicycle.

Hybrid Bike is made mainly for casual rides, but with Schwinn Volare is quite easy to reach good speed and I love that! Other components aren't something special. Seat is the same as you can find on other same price range bikes. Maybe one little problem is about the brakes. As I love fast ride in some situations it is hard to stop intermediately. Maybe this is because of speed or bad adjustment, but there is some space for improvements.

Before this one I thought that Hybrid Bikes are like other universal "products" -- suitable for everything and at the same time for nothing. But that didn't confirm. It looks simple, but also great. It doesn't have any fancy components and rides smoothly. What is the best, after few months bike still didn't require any repairs and rides well.

In the beginning of review I asked myself a question if bicycle for such a low price can be durable. From my own experience with Schwinn Volare it can.
